Nach kurzem Gebet und Singen der Nationalhymne marschierten die Kinder in 1er-Kolonne klassenweise in ihre Schulzimmer. Die Schule direkt oberhalb der Teeplantage hat aktuell 85 Sch\u00fcler im Alter von 3-11 Jahren. In den 3 Schulen auf Glenburn gehen insgesamt gut 230 Sch\u00fcler in dieser Altergruppe zur Schule. Ab dem 12.Jahr m\u00fcssen die Kinder dann zu Fuss in eine Schule ein St\u00fcck oberhalb von Glenburn.<\/p>\n<p>Anschliessend besuchten wir nochmals die Teefabrik, da die Maschinen zu Beginn der Saison nur am Vormittag in Betrieb sind. Der Tee des sog. &#8222;first flush&#8220; (1.Pfl\u00fcckung) wird von den Frauen am Ende des Prozesses von Hand in der Gr\u00f6sse sortiert. (100g first flush = ~CHF 8.00)<\/p>\n<p>H\u00f6hepunkt war dann ein Spaziergang von 1h45 durch die Teeplantage runter an den Fluss auf knapp 300m\u00fcM. Dort gibt es ein kleines Camp (River Camp), wo man auch \u00fcbernachten kann.
