Es handelt sich hier um dem weltgr\u00f6ssten Hersteller von Speckstein\u00f6fen. In diesem Gebiet befinden sich riesige Abbaugebiete von diesem einzigartigen Rohstoff. Wir hatten diese Fabrik vor ca. 30 Jahren auf unserer ersten Finnlandreise besucht. Die Unterschiede sind gewaltig &#8211; Besucherzentrum, Showroom, Museeum und Park gab es damals noch nicht. Mit der russischen Revolution 1917 stoppte der Boom und bis 1980 fand kein Abbau mehr statt. 1980 wurde das Produkt Speckstein wiederentdeckt und ist heute ein modernes Baumaterial f\u00fcr \u00d6fen, B\u00f6den und Saunas.
