Die Strasse hatte schon bessere Zeiten gesehen und wird an vielen Orten repariert. Der Dochu-la pass (3088) verbindet die beiden T\u00e4ler.<br \/>\nPunakha liegt auf 1300m\u00fcM und es ist deutlich w\u00e4rmer als in Thimphu (2500).<br \/>\nAm Nachmittag besuchten wir zuerst einen Tempel (Lama Drukpa Kuenley) aus dem 15.Jhr. Anschliessend besichtigten wir den Dzong von Punakha, der 1637 erbaut wurde und heute durch die Regierung und M\u00f6nche genutzt wird.
