Entlang des Mekong konnte man einige schwimmende Fischerd\u00f6rfer der Vietnamesen sehen. Leider wurde in der Fabrik nicht gearbeitet, da die B\u00e4ume in der Zeit von M\u00e4rz bis Beginn Monsun zuwenig Kautschuk produzieren. Die B\u00e4ume wurden 1910 von den Franzosen nach Kambodscha gebracht und die B\u00e4ume wuchsen ausgezeichnet. Die Br\u00fccke wird jedes Jahr nach der Regenzeit neu aufgebaut und vor dem Monsun wieder demontiert.
