Unser Reisebuch erw\u00e4hnte, dass es sich um eine beschwerliche Reise handelt inkl. F\u00e4hre \u00fcber einen Fluss und man m\u00fcsse mit gut 7-8 Stunden rechnen. Wir entschieden uns f\u00fcr die direkte Route und brauchten f\u00fcr die 180km gut 4.5h. Der Grund ist ziemlich einfach. Die Dschungelstrasse wird zu einer breiten Strasse ausgebaut und ein grosser Teil ist schon fertig. \u00dcber den Fluss f\u00fchrt inzwischen eine Br\u00fccke, die man offiziell noch nicht befahren darf, da sie noch im Bau ist. Die Fl\u00e4chen links und rechts werden gerodet und teilweise f\u00fcr Landwirtschaft genutzt. Dieser Ort war einmal der Hauptort der Provinz Ratanakiri. Als die Amerikaner den Ort w\u00e4hrend des Vietnamkrieges bombadierten, wurde der Ort aufgegeben.
